"Isn't this where Tianhe Club recruits new members?" Shen Xu couldn't help but ask.

"Because too many people who don't meet our recruitment criteria have barged in these past two days, you must demonstrate your qualifications to get in," one of the burly men said in a deep voice.

"Is this alright?" After thinking for a moment upon hearing the burly man's words, Shen Xu handed his jade token to the man who had spoken.

The burly man took the jade token, glanced at it, and his expression changed slightly. Then, somewhat uncertainly, he asked, "Are you Shen Xu?"

"I think it should be written very clearly above." Shen Xu couldn't help but take a step back, as he vaguely sensed that the big man seemed to intend to attack him.

"Don't be nervous. I mean you no harm. I'm just worried you'll run away. Of course you're qualified to go in!" The big man smiled and returned the jade token to Shen Xu, then stepped aside.

Before leaving the palace, Shen Xu glanced at Li Xiaoyi, whose eyes were still glazed over, and couldn't help but sigh. He really didn't want to see Li Xiaoyi now.

"Bai Lu, why did you let Shen Xu live next to you?" Li Xiaoyi asked calmly.

"Huh? Shen Xu, where is Shen Xu?" Bai Lu looked around nervously.
