Ning Anyuan joked, "You little girls these days love chasing after celebrities. Aren't you glad you have a good older brother?"
Ning Anyuan's tone carried a hint of pride.
It seems her older brother thinks she's a fan of Ji Yan, but actually she wants to pursue not only the star but also the person.
Ning Yi smiled and said, "My brother is the best."
After finishing the call, Ning Yi felt incredibly energized.
An Xiaonuo turned her head and saw Ning Yi sitting on the edge of the bed with a smile on her face. She asked curiously, "Xiao Yi, what's wrong? Why are you so happy?"
Ning Yi waved her hand: "No, no, I just heard something funny on the phone."
Then Ning Yi went back to bed and lay down. She happily picked up her phone and opened her chat with Ji Yan again.
Ningyi: Brother Yan, I heard from my brother that you're coming to pick me up the day after tomorrow to go back to the neighboring city together, is that right?
She slapped her head in annoyance after sending it, wondering if it was a rhetorical question and would annoy people.
After a while, Ji Yan replied to the message.
Ji Yan: Yes, it's on the way.
Ning Yi: Isn't this too much trouble?
Ji Yan: It's no trouble, it's just one more person.
Just as Ning Yi was thinking about what else to say, Ji Yan sent another message.
Ji Yan: Are you getting used to university yet?
Ning Yi raised her lips and continued typing: It's not bad. My roommates are all very nice, and I recently joined the music club.
Ji Yan: The music club? I used to be in the music club too.
Ning Yi: Yeah, I've heard that. Our club has quite a few fans of yours.
Ning Yi: I've been so busy these past few days that I haven't practiced much. I wonder if the concert the day after tomorrow will go smoothly. [dizzy]

Ning Yi smiled knowingly as she looked at the little emoticon Ji Yan sent.
Ning Yi suddenly thought of something, became somewhat excited, and then hesitated.

Ningyi: Brother Yan, are you free tomorrow? I'm new to Nanzhou and don't know where to find good food. I was thinking of treating you to a meal.

He said goodnight to me first! Ningyi was secretly thrilled and happy.

She barely slept that night.
Like I'm on stimulants, I just want tomorrow to come quickly.
The next day, Ningyi got up early and started rummaging through her closet to see what would suit her best.
Ning Yi chose a light white floral print sundress, paired with a white gauze cardigan. She also styled her hair in a side braid and clipped it with a small silver hair clip.
She sat at her desk and applied light makeup in front of the mirror.
She looked at her small, oval face in the mirror. Her features were delicate and pretty, with a high, upturned nose and full, rosy lips. A touch of blush gave her cheeks a light pinkish hue.
She looks very charming and radiant.
She suddenly remembered something, picked up the eyebrow razor again, and started drawing her eyebrows with the eyebrow pencil. Then she nodded in satisfaction.
Her eyebrows, thin as willow leaves, added a touch of gentleness to her face.

"Xiao Yi, you look so beautiful today. Are you going out?" Li Man got out of bed and looked at Ning Yi sitting below.
Ning Yi was startled, then replied, "Ah...yes, I'm going out to eat in a bit."
Li Man winked at Ning Yi: "Let's eat~"
Ning Yi quickly replied, "I'm going home in a couple of days, and I need a ride with a friend, so I'll treat him to a meal."
Upon hearing this, Li Man gave up: "Alright then, be careful on the road."
Ningyi picked out a small bag that matched her dress and went out.
She had just stepped out the door when Ji Yan sent her a message.
Ji Yan: I'll wait for you outside the South Gate. It's closer to your dorm. The license plate is xxx (black).
Ji Yan: I'm sorry, it's not convenient for me to get off the bus.
Ning Yi quickly replied with her phone: Okay, okay, it's okay, I'm coming.
Then Ning Yi quickened her pace and hurried towards the south gate.
After leaving the school gate, she quickly found Ji Yan's car and got into the passenger seat.
Ning Yi's heart was pounding as soon as she stepped out the door, and now that she's in the car, it's beating even faster.
Some were so nervous that it took them ages to fasten their seatbelts.
Ji Yan said softly to Ning Yi, "I know a Northeastern Chinese restaurant not far from here. I used to eat there often, and the food is pretty good. Would you like to go?"
Ning Yi nodded like a chick pecking at food: "Okay, either way is fine."
Sitting so close together, she was almost dizzy with happiness. She could sit like this all day without eating.
As soon as she got in the car, she smelled a pleasant aroma.
Then Ji Yan drove off.
Ning Yi sat there and couldn't help but glance at him out of the corner of her eye.
My god, Ji Yan looks incredibly handsome when he's driving seriously.
Ning Yi tried to start a conversation: "Did you also live in a dormitory before? I heard you moved to Nanzhou and lived there for a few years."
As Ji Yan drove, he replied, "Yes, although I moved to Nanzhou, I still want to live in the dormitory."
"Have you been busy with work in Nanzhou lately?" Ning Yi continued.
"I came to Nanzhou a couple of days ago to shoot an advertisement, and I haven't had anything to do these past two days," he said calmly, without much emotion.
We arrived at the restaurant shortly after.
After parking the car, Ji Yan told Ning Yi that she could get out, and then he got out wearing sunglasses and a baseball cap.
Ning Yi got out of the car and followed closely behind Ji Yan.
She noticed that Ji Yan was dressed very casually today, and he was a head taller than her. Even though he covered his face, she could still tell that he was a handsome guy.
Ji Yan led Ning Yi into the small private room.
Then the waiter came in to take our order.
Once inside the private room, Ji Yan took off his hat and mask.
The waitress who came in to take our order was a kind-looking auntie. She was holding the menu when she looked up and saw Ji Yan.
The auntie exclaimed with delight, "Oh, it's you! I haven't seen you eat here in so long!"
Ji Yan smiled kindly and said, "It's been quite a while. I've been quite busy lately, which is why I came to Nanzhou."
The aunt glanced at Ning Yi sitting to the side and said with a smile, "Is this... your girlfriend?"
Ji Yan hesitated for a moment before denying it, then said, "She's my friend's sister."
Ning Yi blushed a little after her aunt said that, perhaps others thought the two of them were a good match.
Then the aunt handed them the menu and asked what they wanted to eat.
Ji Yan took the menu and handed it to Ning Yi: "Take a look and see what you want to eat. I'll have the same few dishes as usual."
Ning Yi nodded obediently, took the menu, and carefully selected her items.
After ordering a few dishes, she looked up and asked the aunt, "Auntie, do you have juice here?"

Ning Yi then turned to Ji Yan and asked, "Would you like something to drink?"
Ji Yan said calmly, "I'm fine with anything."
Ning Yi put away the menu and said to the auntie, "Then please have a mango juice and a orange juice, thank you, Auntie."
Upon hearing this, Ji Yan paused for a moment, then returned to normal.
He suddenly remembered something and said to the aunt, "Don't add garlic to the dishes, she's allergic."
Upon hearing this, Ning Yi paused, feeling a warm current flowing through her heart.
He remembered that he was allergic to garlic.
The aunt smiled again upon hearing this and said happily to Ning Yi, "Let me tell you, little girl, this young man is so outstanding. He's always been very popular and so handsome, so I've always remembered him."
Ning Yi smiled and nodded, "I know, that's true."
A hint of unease flashed across Ji Yan's face, and he couldn't help but glance at Ning Yi a couple of times.
Ning Yi was naturally pure and lovely, with her eyebrows and eyes curving when she smiled, and her round eyes blinking. Ji Yan was a little stunned.
The aunt then left with the menu, smiling broadly.
