Chapter 294: Three Such "Black Tactics"
Chapter 294: Three Such "Black Tactics"
The atmosphere in Qiu Ziyue's hospital room was so heavy it was hard to breathe.
Li Jinfeng sat by the hospital bed, tears streaming down her face. She held her daughter's hand tightly, as if trying to convey a glimmer of hope through it.
The doctor's words, telling her to prepare for her death, echoed in her ears.
As a mother, she was heartbroken, but she knew she had to face reality.
She began to make arrangements for her funeral, and every decision she made caused her immense pain.
At the same time, Qi Yuxuan stood in the corridor, looking in the direction of the ward, his eyes filled with resentment and determination.
Unable to accept the fact that he had lost Qiu Ziyue, he gathered Leng Feng, Zhao Wanqing, and Qiu Langyu, hoping to find a glimmer of hope.
"We can't just give up like this."
Qi Yuxuan's voice trembled slightly.
"There must be a way to save Twilight Sparkle."
Leng Feng and Qiu Langyu exchanged a glance and shook their heads helplessly.
We have tried every possible method, but none of them have worked.
At that moment, the air in the room seemed to freeze.
Just as everyone was sinking into despair, Zhao Wanqing suddenly broke the silence:
"I've come up with a 'three-pronged black trick' that I can try."
The three men all looked at her, their eyes filled with a last glimmer of hope.
"What, the Black Three Moves?" Leng Feng asked first.
Zhao Wanqing took a deep breath and slowly said, "Come with me to the prison."
The three men looked at each other, their faces full of confusion.
Leng Feng frowned: "Prison? What does that have to do with Zi Yue's illness?"
Qiu Langyu also looked puzzled: "Are you mistaken? What can they possibly do in prison?"
Zhao Wanqing's gaze hardened:
“I know this sounds absurd, but I have my reasons. Please trust me this once and come with me to see.”
The three ultimately decided to follow her to prison.
The group hurriedly left the hospital and drove to the prison in the city center.
Throughout the journey, everyone remained silent, pondering Zhao Wanqing's thoughts.
Qi Yuxuan's feelings were extremely complicated, a mixture of anticipation and unease.
He didn't know if this decision would bring about a change in circumstances, but he was willing to give everything for Qiu Ziyue.
Finally, the car stopped outside the prison gates.
After getting out of the car, Zhao Wanqing went straight to the prison office and explained her purpose to the staff on duty.
After some negotiation, they were allowed to enter the prison and meet a prisoner named Lin Hao.
Lin Hao is a seemingly ordinary prisoner, but beneath his calm exterior lies a secret unknown to others.
It turns out that he was once a top surgeon who was imprisoned due to a misunderstanding.
Zhao Wanqing brought everyone here because she heard that Lin Hao had a unique treatment method that might be able to help Qiu Ziyue.
"You mean, you can cure Ziyue?" Qi Yuxuan asked eagerly.
Lin Hao nodded: "Although I have lost my freedom here, my medical skills have not disappeared. According to what you said, the patient may have injured a blood vessel or nerve, which caused the coma. I can try a new treatment plan, but it requires your trust and support."
The three men exchanged a glance and finally nodded in agreement.
They were willing to grasp at this last glimmer of hope, no matter the cost.
Just as everyone was preparing to return to the hospital, Zhao Wanqing said, "Wait a minute, there's still someone I need to see."
Everyone felt that Zhao Wanqing was being deliberately mysterious, but there was nothing they could do but participate with a try-it-out attitude.
To everyone's surprise, Zhao Wanqing was going to visit Hei Sanye in prison.
Zhao Wanqing made a phone call to Hei Sanye through the visiting glass, but no one outside knew what they said.
Everyone then returned to the hospital.
Qiu Ziyue was quickly transferred to a special medical room, and Lin Hao was granted permission by the prison to be released to treat Qiu Ziyue.
Lin Hao repaired Qiu Ziyue's injured nerves and blood vessels. A few hours later, Qiu Ziyue was wheeled out of the treatment room, but she remained unconscious, and her pulse was even weaker.
Qi Yuxuan grew anxious and asked Zhao Wanqing with reddened eyes:
"Are you sure you can handle this? Are you still resentful that my wife poisoned you, and this is how you get revenge on her?"
Hearing this, Zhao Wanqing also got angry: "Qi Yuxuan, you really make me angry. I'm only doing this for her own good. It's better to try than to just wait and watch her die."
"Please stop cursing her, she won't die."
"I don't want her to die either. If you're so capable, wake her up! Why are you throwing a tantrum at me?"
"Zhao Wanqing, I would beat you to death if it weren't for the fact that you're a woman."
"Qi Yuxuan, don't even think about bullying me. I'm not someone to be trifled with."
…………
Seeing the two arguing fiercely, Leng Feng and Qiu Langyu quickly stepped in to mediate.
"Alright, stop arguing."
The hospital nurses were also drawn by the noise and said, "Can you please stop arguing? This is a hospital."
Qi Yuxuan and Zhao Wanqing exchanged a glance, their faces turning pale as they fell silent.
At midday in the hospital ward, sunlight streamed through the window and fell on Qiu Ziyue's pale face.
At her daughter's bedside, Li Jinfeng remained by her side, her eyes filled with exhaustion and despair.
Suddenly, the ward door was gently pushed open, and two policemen walked in, leading in Black Third Master, who was handcuffed.
Black Third Master's gaze swept across the ward, finally landing on Qiu Ziyue.
He sighed softly, his voice low and complex:
"Qiu Ziyue, you are an amazing girl. I admire people like you the most in my life. But if you die, this world will not be fun."
Upon hearing these words, Li Jinfeng was startled and couldn't help but raise her head.
Her eyes were filled with confusion and anger: "What do you mean by this?"
Qi Yuxuan was also puzzled.
Ignoring Li Jinfeng's question, Third Master Hei continued:
“You know what? Actually, we’re not just the three brothers: Boss Cui, Second Master Bai, and Third Master Hei.”
He paused, his gaze becoming deep.
"There's another big shot pulling everything from behind the scenes; that's Master Qin."
Qi Yuxuan and the others felt a chill run down their spines upon hearing this.
Leng Feng frowned and asked:
"Master Qin? Who is he? Why have we never heard of him before?"
Black Third Master sneered:
"You think you've solved everything by arresting the three of us big shots? You're wrong. Master Qin is the real mastermind. His power is far greater than the three of us combined."
Zhao Wanqing frowned, realizing the seriousness of the situation:
"You mean, Master Qin has an even bigger conspiracy?"
Third Master Hei nodded:
“That’s right. If Qiu Ziyue doesn’t wake up, Z City will be plunged into an unprecedented disaster. Not only that, you will also face mortal danger. Can you bear to watch all of this happen?”
The ward was silent; everyone was lost in thought.
Li Jinfeng held her daughter's hand tightly, tears welling up in her eyes again:
"Twilight Sparkle, you must wake up! For your own sake, and for ours and for this city!"
Qi Yuxuan said through gritted teeth:
“We can’t let this happen. We must find a way to wake Twilight Sparkle no matter what.”
At that moment, Third Master Hei's words pierced the darkness in everyone's hearts like a bolt of lightning. They realized that Qiu Ziyue's coma was not only related to her personal fate, but also to the safety of the entire Z City.
Zhao Wanqing stood up and said firmly:
“We can no longer sit idly by. Given the existence of a greater threat, we must take immediate action.”
Leng Feng nodded: "We need to find Master Qin's hiding place and understand his plans. Only in this way can we completely solve this problem."
Qiu Langyu then thought of a key question:
"But how do we awaken Twilight Sparkle? Time is of the essence; every minute and every second is crucial."
Hei Sanye looked at Qiu Ziyue and said in a low voice, "Little girl, wake up quickly. This city still needs you."
As time went on, Qiu Ziyue's condition did not improve.
"What should we do, Wanqing? Your tricks aren't working. Do you have any other ideas?" Qi Yuxuan asked with a bitter face.
“Our strategy of asking for outside help didn’t work, arguing at the hospital bedside didn’t work, and even the provocation from Master Hei didn’t work, so there’s still one more thing,” Zhao Wanqing said, then whispered to Qi Yuxuan.
